Data Action commits to continuous improvement, selects PRIME BPM to power banking innovation

Specialist solutions and services provider to the financial services industry Data Action (DA) has selected PRIME BPM, an end-to-end Business Process Management organisation, to power its transformation projects targeted at accelerating delivery for its clients.

Through this partnership, DA will leverage PRIME BPM’s business process management software and services to set up sustainable practices to streamline processes and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.

Operational for more than 30 years, DA supports credit unions, neobanks, customer-owned banks, and financial services membership organisations, powering 3.2 million accounts across Australia. The organisation has chosen PRIME BPM based on its proven capabilities and extensive industry experience to support its vision of creating innovative solutions for the alternative banking sector.

Commenting on the partnership, Rebecca Bennett, GM – Transformation, DA said, “We needed to partner with an organisation that understands our industry, and PRIME BPM has a well-respected history of working with some of our clients, which helps us work together. We’re aiming to streamline our processes to set up sustainable practices that are fit for the future, in alignment with our purpose; to power innovation in banking. We’re also looking at PRIME BPM to help support accelerated delivery, so we can achieve our goal of being the first-choice technology provider for the financial services sector.”

As part of the project, PRIME BPM will help in capturing all internal standard operating procedures and processes, as well as to-be processes to remove bottlenecks and simplify workflows. This will empower DA to be agile and future-ready for ever-evolving technical and regulatory changes in the banking industry.

Once deployed, the PRIME BPM platform will enable DA to document and create a centralised, readily accessible process library for streamlining knowledge sharing and management within the organisation. This foundation will serve as the building block for DA’s future risk management and transformation programs.

Sharing his views on the partnership, Mark Khabe, Co-Founder, PRIME BPM said, “We are excited to partner with Data Action and support its vision of creating innovative and future-proof solutions for the banking industry and better position them to support their clients. Working closely with the Data Action team, we will create a road map for sustainable process improvement to help them thrive in the dynamic business environment.”
