Job Summary:
We’re seeking a motivated and professional Business Development Specialist – to join our team, focused on the North American market. You’ll be responsible to initiate outbound calls to potential leads to secure confirmed discovery meetings for our Sales team. Your role is crucial in sparking interest and creating opportunities for more in-depth engagements.
In summary, your role serves as a vital link, utilizing both traditional cold calling and contemporary online outreach strategies to facilitate meaningful interactions between prospects and our Business Development or Enterprise Account Manager team.
This role is perfect for someone with strong communication skills, who is comfortable working independently, and who thrives in a structured environment with clear targets and growth opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Using an automated dialer, make outbound cold calls to Senior Executives based in NAM (prospects).
- Build relationships & nurture prospects to identify their needs & qualify their interests.
- Set up qualified meetings between the Senior Executive and PRIME’s Enterprise Account Manager.
- Have a strong hold on messaging the product and service capabilities to effectively communicate these to the prospects.
- Manage the relationship with the prospect to understand & zero-in on the highest value. points in the product and ensure their satisfaction.
- Continued follow ups to prospects via email and phone call to keep them warm.
- Meet or exceed quota expectations or targets on a weekly, monthly and quarterly basis.
- Report to the SDR Manager on sales results.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- 3+ years’ experience in setting appointments through cold calling.
- Experience in B2B SaaS or IT related services in western markets.
- Proven ability to understand and align with the prospect business needs.
- An ability to clearly articulate the company’s value proposition.
- Skilled in engaging prospects through friendly, insightful conversations to uncover their needs, qualify their interest, and build strong relationships.
- Exceptional verbal communication skills.
- Strong work ethic, self-motivation, and the ability to work independently.
- A strategic thinker with the ability to execute both tactically and thoughtfully.
Home Office Requirements:
- A personal laptop.
- High-speed, reliable internet (minimum 100 Mbps).
- Noise cancelling headset with microphone.
- Backup power source (UPS or inverter) to manage power outages.
Working Hours:
- 6 pm to 3 am IST, Monday to Friday.
- This schedule allows focused outreach to prospects in the North American time zone.
