HEART/NSTA Trust Renews Contract with PRIME BPM Software to Advance Process Excellence

We are happy to announce that HEART/NSTA Trust, Jamaica’s leading Human Development Agency in Technical Vocational Education and Training (TVET), has renewed its contract with PRIME BPM Software to further advance process excellence and continuous improvement.

Over the past two years, HEART/NSTA Trust has successfully migrated and mapped more than 900 business processes, sub-processes, activities and tasks within PRIME BPM Software, establishing a centralised repository and a strong foundation for enterprise-wide process management. The platform is now utilised across the organisation to support daily operations, process improvement initiatives, and collaboration.

The renewal marks the next phase of HEART/NSTA Trust’s process management journey. Building on the success of the initial implementation, the organisation plans to expand platform adoption across additional users, enabling broader engagement.

HEART/NSTA Trust will further strengthen its process governance capabilities while leveraging PRIME BPM’s advanced analytical functionality to assess process changes and evaluate their potential impact before implementation. This data-driven approach will support more informed decision-making, improved process visibility, and greater confidence in future process improvements.

The renewal also reflects PRIME BPM Software’s alignment with HEART/NSTA Trust’s long-term process management strategy. In addition to providing a single source of truth for business processes, PRIME BPM integrates effectively with other technologies within the organisation’s ecosystem, supporting scalability and innovation.

Andre Riley, Senior Manager, Organisational Systems and Processes, HEART/NSTA Trust, said, “HEART is happy to continue its partnership with PRIME BPM as we pursue excellence in our process management and continuous improvement. We will continue to use PRIME BPM to define how work gets done, provide a common process language, identify opportunities for improvement, and facilitate collaboration and exchange of knowledge.”

Mark Khabe, Co-Founder of PRIME BPM, said, “We are delighted to continue our collaboration with HEART/NSTA Trust and support the next stage of their process excellence journey. We look forward to helping them expand further and continue driving measurable value across the organisation.”

ABOUT HEART/NSTA Trust

The Human Employment and Resource Training/National Service and Training Agency Trust, known to most Jamaicans simply as ‘HEART’, is a key driver on Jamaica’s road to economic and social development. Formed in 1982 and restructured by the amended HEART Acts of 1991 and 2019, the Organisation focuses primarily on human development, stimulating economic growth and social change.

In 2019, the functions of the HEART Trust, the National Youth Service, the Apprenticeship Board and the Jamaican Foundation for Lifelong Learning were merged. This merger resulted in the integration and rationalisation of programmes, services, job functions and workspaces. HEART has now been positioned as a key economic and social development driver at the forefront of human development and national productivity.
